Who is it?

Welcome Aboard!

Bonefish Base is a chapter of the United States Submarine Veterans, Inc. (USSVI).  USSVI has over 13,000 members nation wide.

We are located in the SoCal Inland Empire.... Redlands, California to be exact.  We are seeking new members in our area and if you are a veteran, retiree, or active duty member who is "Qualified in Submarines" please Join Our Base.

We chose our name after the Gato Class submarine USS Bonefish (SS-223) and Barbel Class submarine USS Bonefish (SS-582).  You can read about their history here.

We meet on the 4th Saturday of each month at American Legion Post #106 in Redlands, California.  Walk-ins are welcome to attend.

BC's CORNER.  The lastest Base Commander's Corner from Bob Schive has been posted.

BASE LIBRARY.  The Bonefish Base Library is now open.  Contact Johnny Meyer, Librarian, if you would like to checkout an item.


BASE COMMANDER BOB SCHIVE.  As my first official function as your new Base Commander, I've put together a questionaire that I'd appreciate each of you taking the time to fill it out and email back to me prior to our next meeting.  You can also fill it out, print it, and bring to the meeting next month.

Our next meeting is at the American Legion Post 106, April 24th.
